Mangaluru police enhance round-the-clock surveillance with 98 new CCTV cameras

In its ongoing efforts to modernize its security infrastructure and enhance public safety, the city police have operationalized CCTV cameras in major areas of Mangaluru.
Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Kuldeep Kumar R Jain announced that 98 new CCTV cameras were being operationalized in the city, specifically in busy and commercial areas.
These cameras are expected to enhance the city’s law and order, crime prevention, and traffic management efforts, he added.
The new CCTV cameras installed will provide round-the-clock surveillance of the areas where they are located. With round-the-clock surveillance, the police department will be able to closely monitor the activities taking place in these areas and quickly respond to any incidents that may occur.
