Mangaluru: The officials of the city south traffic police station went beyond their call of duty to help a stranded mother-daughter duo change their punctured tyre.
A mother and daughter duo were stranded in the city around 6 pm on Sunday, July 25 as their car suffered a puncture near the Pumpwell circle.
The young student of Kundapur origin made enquiries with the traffic police on patrol about the puncture service availability.
However, the Assistant sub-inspector of the traffic police station Albert Lasrado, staff Mahesh, and home guard Asif, themselves helped the student by removing the punctured wheel and replacing it with the spare tyre.
