Mangaluru: Police on vehicle checking duty arrest man for drugs possession

Mangaluru: Police on routine vehicle checking duty apprehended a 45-year-old man after MDMA drugs was found in his scooter.
The arrested has been identified as Gopalakrishna, a resident of Karambar.
Gopalakrishna reportedly tried to evade the police when they asked him to pull over for vehicle checking near Karambar. The police, however, caught him and found 1.5 gram of MDMA valued at Rs 7,500 concealed under the seat of the scooter.
It is gathered that the arrested has criminal cases, including murder registered against him at different stations in the city.
