Mangaluru: Police turn up the heat, seizes vehicle of lockdown violators

Mangaluru: The police on Tuesday, June 1 intensified vigil in the city and seized vehicles of people roaming the streets violating lockdown rules.
The city saw traffic jams in certain areas after the relaxation time between 6 am and 10 am, prompting the police to crack down on motorists who were traveling without valid reasons.
Cops verified personal IDs and enquired about the purpose of stepping out during lockdown hours, while vehicles of those found roaming around without any purpose were seized and violators were warned before allowing them to go.
