Mangaluru: A massive protest was held in Mangaluru on Wednesday (Dec 4) under the leadership of the Dakshina Kannada District Hindu Hitarakshana Samiti.
The protest was organized to condemn the atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and to demand protection for saints and seers.
The protest march commenced at Ambedkar Circle and concluded at the Mini Vidhana Soudha in Hampankatta, followed by a public meeting.
During the demonstration, a few Hindu activists briefly blocked the road, which led to a heated exchange with the police.
