Mangaluru: Even after the Konkan Railway issued a fresh schedule after its monsoon timetable of train timings, it is learned that some of the unauthorized railway apps have still not been updated.
Due to this, the passengers are missing their trains.
As per the sources, on Wednesday, November 2, the Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express train departed from the Mangaluru Central Railway Station at 12:10 PM as per the normal schedule. But passengers using the unauthorized apps reached the station at 2:15 PM, as per the monsoon schedule.
Hence, to avoid such confusion, the railway department in its notification has informed the passengers to check for the schedule as published on National Train Enquiry System (NTES) website or call helpline number 139.
Meanwhile, the railway department has notified that due to new bridge construction between Thalassery-Etakkot railway stations, on Thursday, November 3, there will be a change in train timings of train number 22638 Mangaluru Central-Chennai Central Westcoast Express.
The train instead of departing at 11:45 PM on November 3 from Mangaluru Central will be departing at 3:15 AM on November 4.
