Mangaluru rains: Live wire claims lives of two rickshaw drivers

Mangaluru: Two individuals lost their lives after being electrocuted by a fallen live wire.

One of the deceased has been identified as Devaraj Gowda, a resident of Uppinangady.

The incident happened behind Rosario School when a rickshaw driver was washing his auto-rickshaw. A live electric wire snapped and fell on him, causing an immediate electric shock. Another rickshaw driver, witnessing the incident, attempted to save him but tragically lost his life as well.
