Mangaluru: Scooter rider dies after collision with tourist van

A 47-year-old man named Hamza lost his life after a collision with a tourist van near Arkula gate. The unfortunate event occurred as Hamza and his wife, Fatima, were traveling on a scooter towards B.C. Road from Mangalore on Sunday morning.
The collision took place when a pick-up vehicle collided with their scooter, causing Fatima to fall on the left side and Hamza on the right side of the vehicle. Tragically, the situation took a fatal turn as a speeding tourist van passed over Hamza, leading to his untimely demise. Fatima sustained injuries in the accident.
A case has been registered.
