Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested SDPI Ullal Block Committee President Siddiq under the POCSO Act for sexual harassment of a minor girl on Saturday January 23.
Officials have arrested Siddiq following a complaint by a woman. It is said that the woman had converted to Islam 15 years ago after which her husband deserted her.
Siddiq used to often visit her house to help her family and as he failed to entice the woman, he sexually abused her daughter.
