Mangaluru: Four vehicles, including 2 cars, a bus, and a lorry, were involved in a serial accident on National Highway 66 near Jeppinamogaru on September 9 afternoon.

The incident occurred under the Manglauru South Traffic Police Station limits when a Ciaz car, moving towards Mangaluru from Thokottu suddenly applied brakes, resulting in a lorry moving close behind it hitting the vehicle.

A Wagon R car moving closely behind was sandwiched between the lorry and a Kerala SRTC bus following it.

Fortunately, there were no loss of lives in the incident. Fiver persons in these vehicles however escaped with minor injuries.
