Mangaluru: Serial robbery at Moodbidri, Mulki, Bajpe; 6 more arrested

Mangaluru: Six more accused have been arrested by police in connection with the recent serial robbery incidents reported in the district.

The arrested are identified as Mohammed Zubair, Ibrahim Lateef, Rakesh, Arjun, Mohan, and Boliyaar Mansoor

Speaking to the reporters, Police commissioner N Shashi Kumar said, ” Six people have been arrested in connection to the series of thefts reported from Moodabidri, Mulki, and Bajpe. Earlier, nine people were arrested which takes the total arrests to 15. ”

“The gang was involved in series of theft, robbery, and dacoity in the district. Gang Masterminds have now been arrested. The arrested were also involved in robberies in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Hassan, and Bengaluru districts,” he added

Rs 41.82  worth of goods were seized from their possession.
