Mangaluru Smart City’s ICC Centre transformed into Covid war room

Mangaluru: In order to effectively manage Covid-19 in the district, Mangaluru Smart City project’s ‘Integrated Command and Control Centre’ (ICCC) has now been transformed into Covid war room
This centre will strike communication and information coordination between different departments. It will also work as the forum for the collection and viewing of data.
The centre will view stats, gather information and prepare timely reports. It will also function as a digital-internet forum for different service initiatives.
Through the war room, the doctors and health department experts will be able to provide treatment and prescribe medicine via telemedicine.
Also, with the help of the Covid war room app, availability of hospitals, ventilator, oxygen beds and their treatments, medicines etc will be provided
It is said that a new app is under process for helping Covid infected people
