Mangaluru: Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader got a firsthand experience of the traffic woes in the city.
Khader was frustrated by the traffic congestion at Nantoor Junction and experienced a rough ride on the highway due to potholes. He later directed the Deputy Commissioner to take immediate action for smooth traffic flow near Nantoor and Pumpwell.
On Saturday, Speaker U.T. Khader got delayed due to traffic congestion at Nantoor Junction and arrived late for the scheduled dengue-related meeting at the Zilla Panchayat Hall.
Following the meeting, the Speaker instructed the Deputy Commissioner to promptly address the potholes on the highway near Nantoor and Pumpwell Junctions. He directed the Deputy Commissioner to ensure that the National Highway Authority of India and Municipal Corporation officials take immediate action on this matter.
