Mangaluru start up creating eco-friendly decorative items for Christmas

Mangaluru: Paper Seed, a city-based start-up, has launched bio-degradable items for Christmas tree decorations.

Nitin Vyas, founder of Paper Seed said that they have created this line of products for the first time this year. All items are made using recycled papers and water-soluble paints.

“The decorative items handcrafted by the team of eight in Paper Seed includes miniature Santa Claus dolls, bells and stars. We are receiving orders from Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Many NGOs involved in environmental conservation are supporting and promoting our work and products,” Vyas added.

This is the first time the start-up has made Christmas decorative items. For years they have been making items for Ganesha Chaturthi, Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan Vyas said.
