Mangaluru: Surfing school being planned at Sasihithlu beach

Mangaluru: Often beach and kite festivals were organized at the Sasihithlu beach which increased tourists footfall, but this year, amid Covid-19 lockdown, all of them were cancelled. Now, in order to boost tourism in Mangalore, a surfing school is being planned at Sasihithlu beach.

The total cost of the project  is Rs 10 Crore and it will be under the supervision of the tourism department.

Sources claim, surfing school will be set up at a cost of Rs 1.45 crore, Paragola and walking track costing Rs 1.57 crore, kiosks costing Rs 1 crores, road, drain, and footpath development costing Rs 1.65 crore. The project will be soon executed by the public works department
