Mangaluru: Temples organising darshan of deities on social media sites

Mangaluru: Many temples in Mangaluru and the Dakshina Kannada district have arranged for the devotees to receive darshan of the deity on their social media accounts.
These services were started after the nationwide lockdown came into effect.
Mahatobhara Sri Mangaladevi Temple and Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple had started this service initially.
Mahatobhara Sri Mangaladevi Temple’s ‘Mangala Devi’ Facebook page streams it noon aarthi on Facebook Live every day. Similarly, Kateel Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple update photos of its daily morning and evening aarthis on its page ‘Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple Kateel’ and on its WhatsApp account.
