The police have apprehended three individuals in Belgaum and recovered a stolen Tempo Traveler vehicle near the Kuntikan flyover.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Arif Ulla Khan, Amit Bahubali Panchodi, and Surendra Kumar, and approximately Rs 15 lakhs worth of stolen property, a Tempo Traveler, has been seized.
The incident unfolded when a Tempo Traveler vehicle was reported stolen after being parked near the Kuntika flyover on September 14 at 8:30 pm. Subsequently, on the 15th of the same month, a case was registered at the Urwa Police Station regarding the theft.
In response to the case, a specialized team, led by ACP Central Sub-Division Mahesh Kumar and under the guidance of DCP Law & Order Siddharth Goyal and DCP Traffic and Crime Dinesh Kumar, was swiftly formed. The team, which included Police Inspector Bharti G, Sub-Inspector Harish H, ASI Vinay Kumar, ASI Ullas Mahale, and police personnel Girish, Bhaskar, Abhishek, and Prajwal, carried out a meticulous operation to trace the accused and recover the stolen vehicle.
