Mangaluru: Three take Rs 50 lakh loan from cooperative society using forged documents

Mangaluru: A complaint has been registered against three people for allegedly taking loans from a cooperative society using forged documents in Mangaluru.
The accused have been identified as Shilpa Gajanana Poonja, Dr Nischiketh Poonja and Dr Nikita Poonja
The trio got a loan with the help of deposit bonds from a bank and LIC bond.
The documents were presented to the bank when the accused failed to pay back the loan amount, and it was discovered that the deposit bonds presented were false and the LIC bonds had already been cashed.
A case has been registered.
