Mangaluru: City residents are set to face a two-day water supply disruption due to technical works at Thumbay dam, which supplies water to Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) limits.

According to an MCC statement, the water supply to the city will be completely stopped for 48 hours, from 6 am on April 27 to 6 am on April 29.

The technical works include the repair of a 1,200 mm diameter pipe at HLPS 2-80 MLD pumping station and the replacement of the header of LLPS-1 pump number-2, among other ancillary works.

The MCC has urged the public to cooperate during the water supply disruption.
