Based on the complaint by the two cops, police investigated the case and nabbed the accused –Dyany Paul (39) and Maxim Joseph Noronha (54).

The incident happened on the night of January 18 when police constables Beerendra S Meti and Shivananda D T were returning home from work on a bike. The accused came in a car (KA18-MG-0007) and waylaid the bike near Yayyadi.
