Mangaluru, Udupi: 414 new COVID-19 cases in DK, 167 in Udupi

Mangaluru, Udupi: 414 new cases were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district on September 1.

6 succumbed to the virus in the district increasing the total death toll to 381.

Presently, the tally of the district stands at 13,479, out of which 2,600 are active.

346 people were discharged from hospitals in the district after recovery on the same day.

In Udupi district, 167 new cases were reported with 3 deaths.

250 were discharged after recovery.

The district tally now stands at 11,924 total cases and 102 total deaths. 2,221 cases are presently active.
