Mangaluru, Udupi: DK reports 428 new COVID-19 cases; Udupi 186

Mangaluru, Udupi: On September 4, 428 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the Dakshina Kannada district along with 222 discharges of recovered patients and 7 deaths due to the virus on September 3.

The district’s tally now stands at 14,223 total cases out of which 2,904 are presently active and 391 dead.

In Udupi district, 186 new cases were reported on the same day along with 332 discharges and 2 COVID-19 deaths.

The total number of cases reported from the district are 12,336 out of which 1,967 are active. The deaths toll stands at 108.
