Mangaluru, Udupi: Two COVID-19 discharges on Apr 14

Mangaluru, Udupi: No new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the twin districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi on April 14. No new cases have been reported here since April 5.
In Mangaluru, 156 samples were sent for testing to Wenlock and 12 test reports were received, all of them were negative. Due to a new decision of testing secondary contacts taken by the State’s COVID-19 task force, many samples were sent for testing on April 14.
Another COVID-19 patient who recovered was discharged on April 14. The discharged is a 49-year-old returnee from Dubai. He had arrived on March 21 and was found COVID-19 positive on April 1.
In Udupi too a COVID-19 patient from Manipur village in the district was discharged after the patient’s tests reported negative.
