Mangaluru: Unidentified miscreants vandalise Naga Bana at Kodikal

Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, unidentified miscreants vandalized the Naga Bana at Kodikal. The incident came to light on Saturday morning.

It is said that the miscreants threw one of the Naga idols installed inside the Naga Bana.

Locals gathered at the spot and informed the police officials. City Police commissioner N ShashiKumar visited the spot and conducted an inspection.

Earlier, on October 23, miscreants had vandalized the Naga Bana at Kulur here under Kavoor police jurisdictional limits.

Locals found that six out of the 19 Naga idols installed were missing while one was crushed. A pickaxe, sword, and other tools were found at the spot.
