Mangaluru: Uppinangady woman tests Covid-19 +ve; DK dist tally rises to 15

Mangaluru: A 30-year-old female, resident of Uppinangady tested positive for coronavirus in Dakshina Kannada district on Sunday, April 19, taking the total tally of infected persons to 15 in Dakshina Kannada. This includes one death and 12 discharges.

Two new Covid 19 cases reported from Dakshina Kannada district took Karnataka’s tally of infected persons to 390, including 16 deaths and 111 discharges.

The 30-year-old female is the wife of Patient no 325 and is being treated at the designated district hospital.

The other case was that of a 50-year-old female from Bantwal who passed away at Wenlock Hospital earlier this morning. Her test results affirmed that she was positive for Covid 19.
