Vishwa Hindu Parishad District Coordinator Sharan Pumpwell announced a campaign to distribute holy mantrakshate from Ayodhya to all villages in the state from January 1 to 15, in preparation for the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
Every house will receive a portrait of Lord Rama and an invitation letter along with the mantrakshate. No money should be exchanged during distribution. There is no compulsion to hold vrats or fasting and other rituals as it is a campaign, he said in a press release.
Special programs including puja, havan, satsang, and bhajan are planned in thousands of state centers to mark the occasion of Rama Pratishtha in Ayodhya. A live telecast of Prana Pratistha will be available in Kendras. On the day, households are encouraged to light at least 5 lamps, face north, and conduct aarti to celebrate the event.
