Mangaluru: A video showing individuals performing Namaz in the middle of a road, purportedly in Mangaluru city, has gone viral on social media, leading to public outcry and calls for action.

The incident reportedly took place a few days ago, and the video has since attracted widespread attention. The Mangaluru police have yet to issue an official statement regarding it.

Some residents have expressed their displeasure, claiming that performing Namaz in a public thoroughfare caused disruptions to traffic flow.

In a press release, State General Secretary Anand Shetty Adyar and Divisional President Madhusudhan Urvastore urged the police to take measures to prevent such activities in the future.
