Mangaluru: A case has been registered against a city-based builder for allegedly sexually harassing a woman on the pretext of showing her a site.
The complaint names the accused as Rashid.
According to the complaint, Rashid told the woman that there was a good site for sale in Kushalnagar. On October 21, he allegedly took her to Kushalnagar in a car. The woman said that the accused tried to persuade her to share a room even though two separate rooms were booked.
Fearing for her safety, the complainant said she later stayed at her sister’s residence in Virajpet.
The woman alleged that Rashid behaved rudely the next day when they went to inspect the site. The complainant also alleged that the accused molested her in the car during the return journey and also threatened her life.
