Mangaluru: A 26-year-old man lost his life falling from the second floor while painting a building.

The victim, Mohith Poojary, aged 26 and a resident of Kudupu Konchadi, was engaged in painting work at a residence in Shaktinagar.

Mohith was reportedly painting the exterior wall on the second floor of the building. The ladder he was standing on slipped, causing him to fall to the ground below. Despite immediate efforts, Mohith succumbed to his injuries before he could receive medical attention.

The victim had been working on the project for the past 15 days under a Mangaluru-based decorator.

A complaint regarding the incident has been lodged by Mohith’s uncle at the Kankanady police station.
