Mangaluru: Worker injured in accident at spring factory passes away

Mangaluru: A worker who had been injured in a workplace accident at a spring manufacturing factory breathed his last at a hospital in the city on Sunday, July 21.

The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Garodi (52), a resident of Garodi near Kankanadi.

He was injured in an accident at a private company manufacturing springs and other items in Maroli, Mangaluru.

The accident occurred on July 18 while Pradeep was working at the company. He sustained serious injuries and was under treatment but unfortunately did not survive.

He is survived by his wife and son.
