Mangaluru: Young man falls into well, rescued

Mangalore: A young man who fell into a well at Kuntikana was rescued by firefighters.

The residents of the house near the well heard the shouts of a man for help in the early morning on Wednesday. Later they found the man in the well and informed rescue services.

The unnamed man, about 25-26 years of age of Assam origin, was later lifted out by the firefighters.

How he fell into the well was not immediately known. it is suspected that he might have accidentally fallen during the night hours. Kadri police visited the spot and are investigating.
