Mangaluru’s youngest COVID-19 patient, 10-mth-old baby discharged from hosp

Mangaluru: A 10-month-old baby from Sajipanadu village in Bantwal taluk, who was COVID-19 positive, was discharged from hospital on Saturday,  April 11.

The test reports of the mother and grandmother of the child have also come negative and were also
discharged.

The case of the baby had baffled physicians treating it at Mangaluru’s Wenlock hospital.

The entire Sajipanadu village was completely sealed after the baby was found COVID-19 positive. No villager has been showing any COVID-19 symptoms.

After the recovery of this baby, the total number of COVID-19 positive patients in the district stands at 6.
