Mangaluru: Youth JD(S) stage protest demanding action against moral policing

Mangaluru: The youth wing of the Janata Dal (Secular), Dakshina Kannada held a massive protest against moral policing in the District on Thursday.

The protest was led by Akshith Suvarna, president of youth JD(S) of Dakshina Kannada.

Akshith Suvarna said, ” No organization has the authority to take law into its own hands. Such persons should be stopped by the police, and they should receive harsh punishment. Police need to make sure that such incidents don’t occur again.”

They also submitted an appeal to the city police commissioner.

Ratish Karkera, Sattara Bandar, Kalil, Sushil Noronha, Dinakar Ullal, Ratnakar Suvarna and others were present.
