Mangaluru’s Apoorva Shetty makes it to KBC after 2-year struggle

Mangaluru resident Apoorva Shetty’s long wait to be on the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) has finally paid off. After two years of trying, Apoorva managed to secure a spot on the show and answered 11 questions correctly.

Speaking to the media in Mangaluru, Apoorva shared her joy, saying, “Last year, I missed the hot seat by just 0.03 seconds, but this year I got my chance. It’s a dream come true for both me and my father.”

Apoorva, a BCom graduate, is now preparing for the UPSC exams. Her episode will air on September 27th at 9 PM on Sony TV.

Apoorva’s father Loknath Shetty and sister Ananya Shetty were present during the press briefing.
