Manipal: Actor Rakshit Shetty visits Shivapadi temple

Manipal: Film actor Rakshit Shetty visited the Shivapadi Sri Umamaheshwara Temple in Manipal and had a darshan of the deity.

Rakshit later was seen interacting with adorable Punganur cows on the temple premises.

Mahesh Thakur, president of the temple development trust, was also present on the occasion.

Preparations are underway at the temple for the ‘Artirudra Mahayaga’ under the aegis of Shivapadi Sri Umamaheswara Temple Development Trust and Atirudra Mahayaga Samithi, and the blessings of Sringeri Sharada Peethadheeswara Sri Majjagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamiji. Thousands of devotees are expected to visit the temple for the Mahayaga to be held from February 22 to March 5.
