Manipal: In a tragic turn of events, a 20-year-old college student allegedly died by suicide after he was caught using a mobile phone while writing the examination paper here on Friday afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Sathyam Suman, a native of Bihar.
After Suman was caught red-handed, the invigilator asked him to leave the examination hall. Anxious over the incident, Suman ended his life by jumping from the sixth floor of the college building
Manipal police registered a case in this regard.
Suicide is preventable. Kindly seek help from medical professionals, or experts if you experience such thoughts.
