Manipal: A case has been lodged at Manipal police regarding an assault on a hotel staffer over bill payment.
The accused Shahim, Rahul, and six others had visited the restaurant at Laxmindra Nagar and ordered food and drinks. When the hotel staffer identified as Rakshit Shetty gave them the bill they picked up a quarrel with him.
The accused kicked Rakhsit and threatened him with dire consequences.
The complaint states that Shahim allegedly called on the hotel number the next day and said, “We had created a fuss at the hotel yesterday. We will not spare your hotel.”
