Manipal Hackathon during Tech Tatva

Manipal: Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE Manipal will hold its inaugural Manipal Hackathon during the annual fest Tech Tatva 2019 to be held later this year.

The unique event will focus on ‘Social Innovation’ that involves the introduction of new ideas and practices to cater to social needs like working conditions, community development and healthcare.

Only students pursuing undergraduate courses in any field like engineering, basic sciences, medical, dental, computer application etc can participate in the event. Bonafide student certificate or a valid ID is mandatory. All members of a team must be currently studying in the same university or institute.

The schedule for the hackathon is as follows:-

Round 1: May 25 to July 10, 2019.
Evaluation of Round 1 – (July 10 to 25, 2019).

Round 2: July 25 to August 25.
Result of Round 2: September 5, 2019.

Round 3: October 11 and 12. Thirty-six hours of coding.
