Manipal: Leopard spotted near Shivapadi temple?

A leopard has been reportedly sighted near the house of a temple priest on the road leading to the Shivapadi Temple in the Saralebettu area.
A few days ago, a leopard was sighted around Manipal region. Later there were no updates regarding its movements. Now, locals are once again reporting sightings of the leopard in various areas.
One of the locals, Sushanth Salian, mentioned that he encountered the leopard standing in the middle of the road around 12:30 AM while returning home from work.
The locals have informed the Forest Department about the leopard sightings and the officials have conducted an inspection of the area.
