Manipal: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Nation President Tejaswi Surya has said that a proposal for a National Investigation Agency (NIA) branch in Mangaluru will be kept forth on the Floor of the House in the Parliament.
Addressing the media he said, “Earlier, I had brought to the notice of the Centre the need for the NIA branch office in Mangaluru. I will once again request once again to open an NIA office, as the terror activities in the coastal region are recurring time and again”.
“To create communal tensions and disharmony in the society, ‘Terrorism’ is a tool and a well-planned strategy”, he added.
