Manipal: Two cars collide in Kela Parkala

Manipal: A road accident occurred near Kela Parkala on Tuesday (August 27) afternoon, when two cars collided and came to a halt after hitting a transformer near the municipal water pumping station.

It is reported that one car was coming from the road adjacent to the pumping station while the other was on the main road. Both cars were damaged, but no injuries were reported. The police arrived at the scene and facilitated smooth traffic flow.

Demand for Proper Signage Installation:

Locals said there have been several incidents in this area where vehicles have overturned due to collisions.

The locals have raised concerns about the frequent accidents caused by incomplete roadwork and have urged for the installation of proper signage in this area to prevent such incidents from recurring.
