Manipal: Woman killed after two-wheeler hits divider, pillion rider injured

A 27-year-old woman died and her friend sustained injuries after the two-wheeler they were riding hit a divider in Manipal.
The deceased, identified as Hinduja (27), a native of Nellore in Andhra Pradesh was pursuing her studies at Manipal.
The incident took place on June 15 night when the duo was headed towards Syndicate circle from Tiger Circle.
As per reports Hinduja lost control over the two-wheeler and hit the divider. She sustained serious head injuries owing to the mishap and died on the spot while her friend Varshini who was riding a pillion escaped with minor injuries.
Manipal police registered a case in this regard.
