Bengaluru: President of the State unit of the BJP, Nalin Kumar Kateel on March 9 claimed that many Congress members are very desirous to join the party as they are tired of the infighting between Siddaramaaiah and DK Shivakumar factions.

Speaking to reporters here he added that the party is yet to decide whether to allow such defections.

Repeating the words of Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, Kateel said that the BJP will ensure that Congress remains permanently in the opposition in the State.

He further said that no force can stop the BJP, adding we will win the byelections to the Belagavi Lok Sabha seat and that the Congress will be empty before the Maski byelection.
