Many pay homage to IPS officer Madhukar Shetty’s mortal remains

Bajpe: Many people paid homage to the mortal remains of Madhukar Shetty, IPS officer, at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Saturday, December 29. The IPS officer succumbed to H1N1 in Hyderabad on December 28.

Former Justice Santhosh Hegde, district in-charge minister U T Khader, district police officials, DC Sasikanth Senthil, mayor Bhaskar Moily where the few among who paid homage to Madhukar Shetty at the airport.

A large crowd gathered to pay homage to the beloved officer and a number do police personnel were present. The mortal remains of Madhukar were taken to Kundapur after public homage.
