Mark Zuckerberg, his wife’s investment in Byju’s gives 700% returns

Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan’s Rs 22.86 crore investment in learning tech unicorn Byju’s in September 2016 has now grown seven times according to a report.

Byju’s is one of the few investments Facebook has made in India. It has also invested in startups such as Meesho.

Byju’s, founded in 2011, is the third largest unicorn in India with a valuation exceeding $8 billion after receiving $200 million from Tiger Global. With more than 2.5 million users it has raked in a profit of Rs 20 crores in FY2019.
