Married Muslim woman goes missing from Panambur

Mangaluru: A married woman from Bengre has left home with cash and valuables. The absconding woman has been identified as Ummi Salma (28), wife of Faroodi Moideen from Bengre.
On July 7th, as per usual, Faroodi had left for work in the morning. However, in the evening around 4 PM, his wife gave him a call and informed him that she was leaving for Bengaluru. She also advised him not to look for her.
Faroodi returned back home immediately only to find the house locked. He looked for her at bus stations, railway station and phoned all relatives, but to now avail. He then submitted a complaint at Panambur police station.
On July 9th, Salma called Faroodi again and informed him that she had married another person and assured him that she would be sending him thousand rupees every month. Her mobile remains switched off since then.
While making off, Salma took along with Rs. 25,000 cash and few sovereigns of gold.
Panambur police station has registered a case in this regard and conducting investigation.
