As the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading across the world, the government has implemented a nation-wide lockdown till May 3 to prevent the spread of virus infection. Precautionary measures like wearing face masks and washing hands have been most effective around the world in keeping the virus at bay.
Bengaluru Police took to Twitter on Thursday, April 24 with a photo from Rakshit Shetty’s movie Avane Srimannarayana and wrote the chorus of the song, “Hands up” by replacing it with ‘Mask up’ and ‘wash hand’ indicating that wearing masks and washing hands are core principles to avoid COVID-19.
They also requested citizens to stay inside the home and stay safe.
ಇದು ಚರಿತ್ರೆ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸೋ ಅವಕಾಶ,
Mask up, ಅದುವೇ ಸಿದ್ದಾಂತ,
Hand wash, ಈಗಿನ ವೇದಾಂತ!
