Mass marriage ceremony at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala temple cancelled due to lockdown

Mangaluru: The mass marriage ceremony, scheduled to be held on April 29 at Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala temple has been cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic.

Since the year 1972, Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala under the aegis of D Veerendra Heggade has been organising mass marriages. Last year, 102 couples tied the nuptial knot at the mass marriage event.

This year, however the event has been cancelled on account of the lockdown imposed to contain spread of Covid 19.
