Massive blaze at Global Market in Ullal: Traders suffer major losses

Ullal: A fire accident occurred at Global Market near Kallapu within the Ullal Police Station limits, resulting in the complete destruction of 5 large shops and 20 small shops. Traders have suffered losses amounting to crores of rupees.
The estimated losses for the businesses in Kallapu Global Market are as follows: S.N. Fruits, owned by Naveed, suffered a loss of Rs. 1 crore; K.F.K., owned by Suhail, incurred a loss of Rs. 40 lakhs; K.K. Fruits, owned by Latif, experienced a loss of Rs. 70 lakhs; Indian Fruits, incurred a loss of Rs. 60 lakhs; B.S.R., owned by Salam, suffered a loss of Rs. 15-20 lakhs; P.K.S., owned by Zulfikar, faced a loss of Rs. 15-20 lakhs; and KGN Fruits, owned by Naseer, also suffered a loss of Rs. 15-20 lakhs.
Additionally, 20 small shops, including Ganesh Market, were completely burnt down.
S.N. Fruits had just stocked fruits worth Rs. 40 lakhs on Sunday evening. All shops had freezers, which were also destroyed in the fire.
The fire reportedly started from inside the locked shops at around 2:30 AM and quickly spread to 25 shops. The fire brigade from Mangaluru arrived and managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the remaining 60 shops.
