‎Udupi‎‎: A woman from Hyderabad has lodged a complaint at the Udupi City Police Station alleging that her dog’s life is in danger.‎

The complainant, S Sai Shree, said she runs Breathe Animal Rescue Center in Hyderabad.

The complainant said that Reena from Udupi had adopted two dogs, named Blackie and Cream, from her on March 6. A few days later Reena called back saying that Blackie had behavioral issues and promised to return it.

Instead of safely returning the dog, Reena allegedly handed over the canine to a man in Brahmavar, who gave it to another person.

The complaint asked for booking the accused under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act since the dog was allegedly being kept in an unsafe place in dangerous conditions.
